New face...

Well, we had a new face in Goree, Texas this weekend. Shea brought her new boyfriend home to meet the parents, or NanaTrainham rather. We had a wonderful visit. He is a great guy and always thinking of others before himself. Just when I thought we had him snowed into thinking that we weren't really all that weird, Kent and I rolled the four-wheeler we were riding. Don't worry, only scratches and bruises. The worst damage was bruised egos...

The Fire!

Daniel 3:16 "Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, 'O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up'." The prince of this world (satan) has thrown Aunt Jimmie into a fiery trial. And like Shadrach, Meshach and Agednego, God did not spare Aunt Jimmie Ann from entering the fire. But, He can rescue her from within the fire! Keep praying BIG. 1 Peter 4:12 "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy."
