An Apple A Day...

Well, Aunt Jimmie Ann has not kept the doctors away as of late. But, she did get a good report yesterday from one of her doctors. As a matter of fact, a report is not the only thing she got from her doctor. SHE GOT A HUG FROM HIM, too! He was very excited about her progress and I'm sure he was proud of her great attitude, too. She is Miss Congeniality! The mass has shrunk and there are no new areas developing. Thank you, Lord.

Kaden and I had a fun weekend! T-ball and carnival on Saturday then church and ant farm on Sunday. At some time on Sunday, we were commenting on this crazy cat that keeps meowing at the back door. Kent told it, "We don't know what's wrong with you, if you'd just tell us we could help." Kaden said, "Ya know I understand dog and cat language." I asked him, "What is that cat trying to tell us?" And Kaden replied, "I don't know that cat's speakin' Spanish." LOL

Who Wants To Be...

Well, I arrived at Granny Vera's about 5 minutes after Mom. (problem was, we were three hours late for the lunch that Treva brought along with Floyd and Blake) We played hand & foot and marbles with Sue, then baked an egg custard and Mollie came over for some crummy rummy (she beat our butts, I might add).

Brian and his fiance blew through with their good news. Sherry shared some peacekeeping maneuvers she did in the middle of the night. Melinda and Chris squared off and they are challenging one another and anyone else to step up to the scales for a "Family Biggest Loser" contest. All of us desperately want to be healthy, so let's have some fun in the process. After laughing my head off about breathing, belly and butt statements, we weighed in and antied-up.
