I just want to wish every one a happy halloween!
Love Ya,
Lois, Curt, and Matt
This family is descendants of Henry and Eula Clifton. Their daughters are Vera Mae Clifton Lewis, Jimmie Ann Clifton Riggins, Sue Clifton Hons, and Mollie Clifton Collins Roderick. And this blog is an attempt at our family staying connected and close.
"Tammie, I thought you could use this picture in your blog. Jimmy is playing soccer in a league at Graham, so they faithfully go to practice over there two days a week, and then have a game every saturday." said, Lois Reneau.
Wow, Jimmy that guy is huge. We hope you ran circles around him. Good Luck this season.
"We had our pictures taken last May for Ma's birthday, Ma is brenda, greg is Pa." said Lois. It is really awkward to imagine Greg and Brenda as Ma & Pa. If they are that old, then so am I. And I'm in denial!
It was Kaden's first year of school (Kenan's first son). He loves Mrs. Tulane. The only problem, he has a Texas Longhorn's backpack (not TTU). But, other than that he may be the smartest kid in Kindergarten.
In October, Slade (Kenan's second son) had his first birthday!
(Fact #1: Kenan does not need fertility drugs, but Tammie may. Got some? jk)
All three boys and their families were faithful attenders of the '06 Reunion. And one must add, they are a family of fine cooks. A new addition to this side of the family was Eric's new bride, Kelly. Welcome to the family! Hope we didn't scare you off. And something else new on this end of the family was Nita's brand-new job with the City. Congratulations Nita!
These are the 'sisters' who are responsible for this whole mess! And it was a year for firrrrsts and surrrprises. Thank you ladies for working so hard to make this day happen and for being the glue that holds this family together.
(The photos I took with my handy throw away didn't turn out very good, but I'll post 'em anyway...especially if you 'all don't send me some better pictures.)
Finally, I had the reunion photos developed. And instead of enjoyment, I sensed some heartache. This was one of the last memories I have of Uncle C.D. But, on a lighter note...his life is a celebration. A celebration of his community service and his love for the church and of course his family. He was a neat, neat guy. We love you and miss you. (tell Jesus hello for us)
