A Learning Experience...

Well i have got some bad news now. This passed saturday morning i was kicked off the basketball team for a party that i shouldn't have gone to, especially in season. My consequences i thought would be a game or two suspension, but boy was i wrong! I was kicked off for the entire season, which ticks me off because me and the other girl that was eliminated from the team aren't the only two girls that drink on the team.... I am extremely depressed and if i let any of y'all down, I AM SO SORRY!!!! but as my parents told me, people make mistakes and i was punished for mine. Anyways i'm sorry again and I'll see y'all soon. Oh by the way, one good thing about it is that now i get to go watch Jimmy play basketball now! (hey, it's me Cassie! I was just dropping in to say hello! If you didn't already know i play basketball at McMurry University and if any of you want to keep posted on how i'm doing you can go to the McMurry web site, www.mcm.edu then click on the athletics part and go to women's basketball. If any of you guys happened to be in Abilene on a Thursday evening or on a Saturday after lunch you should go to one of the games. They're always exciting! Well y'all take care. Love, Cassie) http://www.mcm.edu/athletics/wbasketball/roster.html

Cassie,
Thanks for the update! This makes me remember the old days when I was at Midwestern State playing basketball. Hope to see one of your games sometime.
Love, Tammie

Cassie,
Every single person in this family has learned some lessons the hard way. Thank you for being transparent with us, because we will all have mistakes in our future. It's inevitable!

It's only a true mistake if when you fall down, you don't get back up. Would you remind me of my grand advice the next you see me fall? Get up, learn from it and be better than you were before. I'm proud of you and we all love you very much.

Cassie, I too am sorry for your punishment. It does seem extreme, but sometime the price is high. I know I've made plenty of mistakes in my life also and my family has always loved me through, so just learn from it and know you are still loved.
